A huge thank you to all at the endoscopy unit. Went in today for colonoscopy and everyone was so pleasant and caring. Can't fault the care I received from the Unit. Thanks again all.
Had midwifery lead care through my pregnancy and gave birth in the birthing centre at Ysbyty Ystrad Fawr. Midwives were good thought my pregnancy and are always there if needed. The birthing centre was absoloutly amazing, all midwives were brilliant and very supportive. Made my labour as comfortable and easy as possible. Will definitly be using the birth centre again in the future if possible and I would highly recommend it!
I need two ratings for this review;Medical professionalism 5*, in and out for an out patient"s appointment in less than 15 minutes, everything fully explained and mind put at rest!Then we come to that information board in the main entrance, if you have never visited the place before, never, under any circumstances, waste valuable moments of your life trying to decipher it, ignore it and go straight to the glass fronted office and ask "where is so and so"?I had an appointment in dermatology, dermatology is part of the out patients dept and doesn't exist in relation to the info board, but you are not told this, "report to dermatology" I was informed, totally frustrated!Can I rate it minus 1*?Besides this, can't fault the medical staff!
Where do I begin with this hospital. I hope to god I never need to go there is all I can say. The way in which my poor elderly mother in law was treated was shocking. The problems experienced by other patients and relatives that have left comment appear to be business as usual at this hospital. Who ever is running the place needs to be given the sack!
I feel slightly crass rating a hospital, but an average rating of 3.5 seems undeserving. I had orthopaedic surgery performed in this hospital and I personally cannot fault the level of care I received. This hospital and its staff are superlative in every facet.
